
He was born in 1934 in the city of Leninakan /now Gyumri/

1953-1959 - he graduated from Architectural department of the Constriction faculty of Yerevan Polytechnic Institute after K. Marx.
WORKING EXPERIENCE
1959-1962 - "ArmStateProject" Institute, Senior Architect
1962-1964 - Chief Architect of Leninakan
1964-1967 - Deputy Chief Architect of Yerevan
1979-1982 - Director of "Yerevan City Repair Project" Institute
1982-1989 - Chief Architect of the city of Yerevan

2001 up to present - Executive Director of "Yerevan Project" CJSC
Foreign member of the Russian Academy of Sciences of Architecture and Construction
Chairman of the Subcommittee of the Key Problems of the Development of the Rural Settlements of CIS countries.
Member of Urban Development Council of Yerevan Municipality
Honoured Architect of Armenia, Laureate of the Armenian State Prize and the USSR State Prize, repeated laureate of reviews of the Soviet Architecture, author of a number of big architectural designs (Yerevan "Hrazdan," Airport of the City of Gyumri, Yerevan Sports-Concert Complex and other public and civil units), the majority of which were awarded state prizes and honour certificates.
He's the author and head of more than 50 designs on land, real estate, urban development, payable land use and cadastre.
